The catch is that the more useful AI detection features — people, pets, packages, vehicles — require a Cam Plus or Cam Unlimited subscription on top of the sticker price. Worth noting too that outdoor mounting requires a separate Wyze Outdoor Adapter. If you want a fully capable setup out of the box with no ongoing costs, you'll need to weigh those extras.
